Understanding powerpoint effect object kind (entry,emphasis, exit) in c#

In powerpoint 2010, i want to uderstand effect object kind. Not the effect type. Let me explain my need. in powerpoint graphical interface we can see slide's timeline object. Effect object in timeline can be in three kind ; entry, emphasis or exit. Also we see "star" symbol near the shape name and this symbols shows us the effect kind; green star for entry, yellow for emphasis and red for exit kind.

I wonder how powerpoint understand the effect kind.

Powerpoint, like all applications, has a set of rules. When you create a presentation you use those rules to tell it how to display the elements of each slide.

i am writing an powerpoint addin via c#. i can access nearly all of objects in slide but effect object kind. i mean is effect entry, emphasis or exit. that is the point i need some help. i hope i explained my problem more clearly.
