How to build tool checking emails on outlook ?

I need to create a Windows form application or Outlook Addin . I want to read the mails received on outlook . And do some action (save the mail on a file and display some text to user )based on the message received . Please suggest me whether i should use VSTO or Windows form . Which will be easier to build ?
