How to implement pause and resume options in java ftp client program?

Hi I'm trying to implement pause and resume option in java Ftp client program. Right now i'm using "Ftp4j" jar in ftp client code for downloading files from java ftp server.My need is to pause the download and then i have to resume the download ..Is there anybody to clear this ..
