include files in project

HI all,
i have a web application in which we are using images to upload to server. every thing works fine. we can access the images from the folder. just wondered that uploaded files are not treated as a part of project , if we show these images in visual studio it will show as excluded items in the solution explorer and it ask us to include this item in project. may be , there some settings need to change for this ? same way happen if i copy some js file directly to the folder and don't add it from solution as an existing item.

Solution 1

If you copy paste, directly on to the folder using Windows Explorer, Visual Studio won't recognize.

Else, open Visual Studio and the solution. Select some folder and copy paste. Now it will show you by default.
