Share point 2010 FBA with LDAP login : Access Denied

Hi

I have created FBA web application with LDAP providers.I have added Membership and Role provider in web-config files and I am able to find AD roles(roleprovicer:groupname) and AD users(membership:user1).So when I add LDAP user in to my sharepoint group its working but if I add my LDAP group and try to login with group user its throughing me access denied error.

Questions:

Is there any sharepoint service which is stopped?

Is there any config changes I need to do?

Any Help Plz ???

Solution 1

Hello,
This issue occurs if the group level permissions is not contribute in the root Site.
Step1:Go to the Root Site through site settings
Step2:Users and persmissions-->Advanced Permissions
Step3:Select the Group
Step4:Edit Permissions
Step: Select Checkbox [Contribute - Can view, add, update, and delete.]
Step6:Test now for LDAP group accessibility.

Dear karthy,

Thank you for your answer , but i did try this before and it didn't work either .
To be more specific to my case :- I want the share point 2010 to read the AD group users from the Domain Controller directly and get them access without adding users from the same group to the share point group that i have created before.
I have more than 15000 users in my community and i don't want to import them or add them all over again !!!.

I hope you got the idea ?!!
