Help update panel, gridviews, triggers.

I have a update panel with a gridview and in the gridview I have a select command. Now when I click the select command, I want the value of the cell be transferred to a textbox. The problem is it wont transfer. I tried using triggers but still it wont work. Please help! Thank you very much.
