Hosting ASP.Net application on linux server

Dear Friends,

Can we able to host asp.net application in linux server.. i have googled it and found one way called 'mono project'.Now my question is i was used vb.net to develop asp.net website..is it possible to host on linux?

Can anybody have any other idea? how to work with mono?

For stability, I would highly recommend you to host it on windows server. I never try host it on linux server. I always use windows server and I'm quite experience with windows server. You can use asphostportal if you need .net hosting. They offer affordable pricing
