Good practical tutorials for java EE 7

I'm looking for some good practical tutorials for Java EE 7, preferably something that is not limited to a specific IDE.

I'm currently reading through Oracle's tutorial/documentation, but would like something with a more practical approach.

Any links or pointers will be much appreciated.

Yeah, I've done some searches, but what pops up most frequently are either the Oracle tutorials or Java EE 6. I was hoping someone might know of some Java EE 7 specific tutorials that I might have missed. Thanks anyway.

Did you try modifying the above search query to be Java 7 specific?

Yep, but the entire first page is just links to the Oracle tutorials. The only non-Oracle result on the first page is a blog article that also links to Oracle's tutorials.
