.mdf file not saving data

Hi,

I have created wpf application and i have added new .mdf file, but the file storing data permanently like as normal database,it stores temporarly,when application closes it loses all data , i want to install into client application what are precautions i need to take to ssave data permanently can u guide me or send snippets
