Hi, when i opening my laptop "Operating System Not Found" Error Coming. I think the OS file has been corrupted. I installed Windows 7 Professional in my system. I given repair option from Windows 7 Backup from pendrive, but can't repair my system. Now i am going to use Install Now option before that i want to access and copy my desktop folders how can i copy?

can u help me?

You can't. Your best bet is to find a company near you that does this as a prfessional service.

Install OS in different folder(if your previous OS is in C: then do install in D:) then you can get your data safely(don't format all drives).

Bad idea.
There is a good chance that "install now" will begin by reformatting the HDD - at which point all his data will be destroyed...

Get your data safe first, then look at installing an OS.

Steps to do:

  1. Download and burn Hiren's BootCD[^] image onto DVD
  2. Boot laptop from DVD and run Linux... (Rescue Software)
  3. Install USB drive
  4. Copy data from laptop to UBS drive
  5. Reboot laptop (remove HBCD dvd and insert Windows installation DVD
  6. Install new copy of Windows operating system
  7. That's all!


Note: In a past Hiren's Boot CD provider had used illegal software. Now, it uses only free versions of software. You can use it safely.
