How to make VISUAL STUDIO 2008 find SQL SERVER 2008?

Hi everyone!
I have VISUAL STUDIO 2008 that, by default, works great with SQL Server 2005 Express but recently I have installed SQL Server 2008 and deleted SQL Server 2005 expres. Now my visual studio doesn't see an
SQL Server.
How to bind them?

Solution 1

You can specify the default SQL server in the options of VS.

1) Open VS
2) Select menu TOOLS | OPTIONS
3) Check the 'Show All Settings'
4) Expand Database Tools
5) Data Connections Properties / SQL Server Instance Name setting
