There is no 'finger print' data type.
If you are talking of storing an image of a finger print then you would need to use a BLOB or varbinary field to store the byte data.

If you have other way of presenting the finger print like some co-ordinate or vector data that are used in finger print comparisons, then way to store biometric data should be used.
