I need help in configuring apache 2.0 server to service the browser with php files.

I just installed apache 2.0 web server.I In d conf.httpd file I changed d root to point at c//Public_html.
The server services the browser with html files but when IT put php files I get the error

this isnt an error, this is the directory listing
select the index.php from the directory [although it should be loaded automatically in default configuration]

Solution 1

You better install a bundle for development purposes. You can choose from many, but Wampserver[^] and XAMPP[^] are the most used ones.
