I have googled.

I have tried installing both x86 and amd64 MSIs of same version according to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974247.

I have added the reference System.Data.SqlServerCe.dll under C:\Visual Studio 2010\Projects\employees_database\employees_database\bin\Debug and added in project folder

The problem still remains as "Additional information: Unable to load the native components of SQL Server Compact corresponding to the ADO.NET provider of version 8080. Install the correct version of SQL Server Compact. Refer to KB article 974247 for more details." when I run my simple sql database application.

Why can't I load those components yet? Can someone please help? I really appreciate it.

I use Visual Studio 2010 and I found any one of the dozens of sample applications downloadable or already somewhere in the installation directory pertaining to database (SQL) and C#/VBNET CLR/CLI C++ (etc) easily compilable and eventually executable. Try some of these samples. Search HELP on SQL database and filter by language of choice.
