Windows phone Lap counter

Hello everyone,
I currently working on my graduation project but I need some help,
My project is a Windows Phone 7.1 Application mainly for now I'm creating two lap counters using goeCoordinateWatcher coordinates:
1- one for circular laps
2- the other is from point to point lap

The circular lap counter was very easy to implement but when it came to the point to point lap counter I couldn't come up with an algorithm that might work

so can you help me please??
