Getting Started with PhoneGap application

Hi All,

I am a beginner with no previous knowledge of developing mobile apps. Can someone suggest me a good place to learn phonegap.

I want to know that what will be the best IDE to write the code ? I have read few articles and I found that someone has Used Angular.Js, someOne is using BackBone.js or Jquery mobile so which Js is best to use ?

I want to create an application which can give me some basic knowledge of PhoneGap so please suggest me from where I can begin and which tool I should use for development ?

Not much tutorials found in one place but you could find many in random places in web.

And I found some video tutorials in Lynda & Pluralsight websites.
