how to improve the performance of the mvc application that contains two jquery tabs with two webgrids respectively

my structure is like this <home tabs="">

under tab 1 page I have one webgrid I kept it in partial view. and under tab2 page I have another webgrid Iam using another partial view. Here the problem is when am loading Home page having two tabs. It is taking much time to load tab1 and tab2 to get the home page . Let say I have 5000 records under home page tab1 and 6000 records under home page tab 2 . Collectively to load 11000(home tab1 + Tab2) records home page is taking lot of time, it is badly effecting the performance.
