How to uninstall a com addin using msi?

I created the project this way, File->new project->2010 Excel Addin ->and added a Ribbon(designer) o it. Then to make it as an installer, I added a new project to it , setup installer for x86 compatibility. I installed the application and now the addin entry in created in the regedit and the control panel and addin also created in the MS EXcel, but when I uninstall the Addin is removed from the regedit and control panel but not from the addin's tab in MS Excel. I have also made the registry entries for CURRENT_USER adding the commandline safe, load behavior, friendly name, description and manifest. Manifest value is "[TargetDir]TestAddin1.dll.manifest|vstolocal". There are twon entries that are created, in the CURRENT USER, one with the my project name (say TestAddin1) which is refering to my debug bin location and one as the registry entry key with TestAddin1.my which get uninstalls when i do a uninstallation. But when I install the same pack on other sytem, the addin doesnt get installed at all :-(
I am using .net 4.0 c# winforms and creating addin for Excel Addin 2010.
