Tools to achieve the goals in the Master's dissertation

Good time .
I have been silent for a long time . But I had to ask for your advice on the use of appropriate tools or creating any project on which it was possible to clearly resolve the issue. That is the name of the topic of my master's dissertation: "Comparison and correlation of structural and object- oriented approach to software design of distributed information systems".
Sorry if this topic is not the topic .
P.S. And if so, any existing project , you can either refine or it analyze these approaches .
