Its also not a good idea to expect some one to do even a google search for you. Don't you have access to google. Read the documentation and the answer will be clear enough.

Purpose is not to post any thing you want. There are some guidelines which you are expected to follow. See this: http://www.codeproject.com/Questions/ask.aspx

Quick Answer.

Writing code(related to database provider* or generic functions) in form/page is not a good idea. That's why we need to seperate the things using layers, so you could reuse the things.

*Like opening the dbconnection, using dbcommand, etc.,
