Web Deployment in visual studio 2012

Hi,
I developed a web application in framework 1.1 and i migrated that particular web application to 4.0 in visual studio 2012. Can any one please help me with the deployment process for running my web application in local host.

Do i need to change any project properties like Build Events as it mentions 2 text area's (Pre-build and post-build event command line) what is the use of this particular property.

What's your question? Just do a release build.

As there is no web deployment in visual studio 2012. this web deployment is availble only upto vs 2010. So, i like to know is there any other alternate like through commands can i get my output
