I have an image of a solid arc.I mean a bitmapsource image .The arc starts in green colour and it goes through different colurs and the 360 degree end is red in colour.Just like the metre console of a vehicle.The background colour is white and i want to know the arc length or the angle subtended by the arc at centre.Any clarrification is entertainde.Thanks in advance

You need to understand that your image has no true circle - this is your human interpretation/perception. Interpreting the contents of an image is no easy matter - imagine creating your own OCR package.

Now - if you have the means (and it's worth the effort), you can look for the circle's edges by examining the pixels - if you can determine a characteristic that truly defines the circle's edge. As you might imagine, there's no easy general solution.

Your primary hope would be to locate some pattern-recognition software that would recognize the edges in your image.
