Help with what? If you are not sure why you should use Cassandra, how anyone can know better? If you don't know why, probably you shouldn't :-). And the question on "comparison" is generally invalid. Compare — how?

Everyone will have a different opinion on the matter. I would suggest you research it online and decide what works best for you.

“For time-series data.” That’s a huge use case in the big data world, and Cassandra handles it better than anyone out there, but it’s just one use case of many where Cassandra tops the list of options.

The largest known Cassandra cluster has over 300 TB of data in over 400 machines.

A progressive database like Cassandra overcomes many of the limitations inherent in legacy

RDBMSs. The relational model was designed primarily to handle complex and involved transactional operations, very structured and rigid data, moderate data volumes in a single location, and works very well for standard data input/output use cases.
