convert C++ code written in Builder XE to VC++ - Is it a good idea or something else we need?

Is it a good idea to covert project written in C++ using builder XE(Embarcadero) to VC++?

Please let me know the advantage and disadvantage of it and also if it'd be a good idea in scene of time taking for conversion.

FYI: Proj is converted from BC6 to Embarcadero XE. My poj size is ~1GB.

Any suggestion is really appreciated.
