The tutorial says to type in the computer name followed by reports in Internet Explorer, i.e. http:computername/reports but I dont know why it wont let me access it,

Any help would be appreciated,

Just to confirm the default url to the report manager should look like this:

http://ServerNameWhereYouInstalledSSRS/Reports

Hi,

1. First of all check is your report server configured properly? and is it in running state? if not then start report server by following given link

This link will help:

Configure Report Server

2. Then Check Is SQL Reporting Services Running? open command prompt and type(services.msc)and check.

3. you can see Report Manager URL in Reporting Services Configuration Manager. which can open site for you.

Generally report manager URL is like

http://machinename/reports

or you can use

http://ipaddress/reports

Hope this will solve your issue.

Regards, Mubin
