Can I develop iphone app on windows?

Hi all,

I am interested in iphone app. I want to develop an app can be sold in app store. Is it possible to make this program on Windows with VMware? Currently, I just have an iphone but there is no Mac. Can you tell me any details about how can I make an iphone app on Windows?

My suggestion for .NET iPhone developers will be to research Xamarin software (it's a plugin for Visual Studio). It exposes the necessary APIs for iPhone development.

The difference between the free version and the paid license is that you can't submit your development to iTunes. You have to acquire the paid version to have Apple approve it for iTunes. Other than that, it's the same thing as far as what APIs it exposes and how it works in Visual Studio.
