Hello all,

I'm interested on changing the display resolution of a Windows CE computer to a non standard resolution.

In my mini-computer I can select resolutions like 1024x768 (3:4), and I would like to get 1366x768 (16:9).

The industrial manufacturer allows me to change resolutions through a specific and proprietary program named CXConfig. And as this utility is not giving me what I do need I would like to modify that resolution through the OS or registry editing directly.

After searching the Internet for some time I've decided to ask this here... Who knows it is possible that any CPian would have needed this before and that could help me.

As always thank you very much

I've solved it by myself:

I've used the vendor utility to set a resolution of 1024x768.
I've opened the registry.
Searched for 768.
After a while and lots of patience.
Found an entry with the details of the display resolution.
Changed the 1024 to 1366.
Resetted the device.

Now it is running fine!

What a shame, two hours searching for a good way to do it in Internet and just after posting the question the magic happened. :sigh:

"magic happened".... of course! That is the way it works! Glad you got it solved though.
