How to Format the Excel Column values using Visual Basic (Macro)

Hi
I am Trying to Format the Columns Value In Excel
Using Macro,visual Basic
as

Format(Cells(iRow, icol), "yyyy-mm-dd")

I am Using loop to Format all the Available Data in that Particular Column.
I am Copy-pasting From another Source to this Excel File where I have Written The
Macro. The Data From Another source have Different Date Formats.And am Trying to
Format all in one Format that i s in "yyyy-mm-dd".
I have also Set the the Format Options as this Format.
But After Running the macro also am not getting the Required output.
The Format is Remaining the Same .
Please assist How to Do this.
