retrieve value from fieldobject crystal report

i want to access and get or retrieve value of particular field object crystal report in vb.net

for eg

textobject

i can use `directcast` and access the

.text

property of textobject

what should be done for fieldobject

please help!!!

The linked issue is not the same as asked and is not the answer. There it goes about TextObject and hier about FieldObject. FieldObject can not be converted in TextObject. So, the question stay open.
