[REPOST] This mail server requires authentication when attempting to send to a non-local e-mail address

I am running a program in which i am using email but when I execute the program I am getting the an error :-

"This mail server requires authentication when attempting to send to a non-local e-mail address. Please check your mail client settings or contact your administrator to verify that the domain or address is defined for this server"

plz help me..

It needs authentication credentials.. Use mine - username aspnet & password - Iamanidiot2013

Solution 1

This is a very usual, and, come to think about, quite reasonable policy. You need to provide credentials, to send a mail to a e-mail address with different domain. You cannot do anything else about that, unless you have administrative access to the mail server.
