read varbinary colum of file table which keeps excel file

I have a file table which stores excel file.

Can anyone help me to write sql query for retrieving the content?

i tried the below query for txt file saved in file table and is working fine.

SELECT   (convert(varchar(MAX), file_stream)) FROM [dbo].ABCA

The same is not working for excel file..
please help
