Where does Dotnetnuke datas be stored

Hi,

I am a newbie to Dotnetnuke... I want to find the database where the DNN data is stored...
In web.config it tells Database.mdf is attached in .\SQLEXPRESS...
But when I login SQLEXPRESS with Management studio, no such database found there... (Even when the DNN website is running)
How can I confirm Database.mdf is the right file,,,
While Installing I set Database Server as .\SQ2K8 but now nowhere it shows this database server...

Solution 1

hi,
1) download latest DNN install Version community version which is available from DNN site.
2) Create your New Databse on ur sql server.
3) Install ur DNN Installer version .During Installation select ur DB which u created.
4) All ur DNN inforation wil be stored in new db.
