Why I have too much memory for the reporting service, dont have a lot of using the sql server but memroy is more than half (few gigs just for reporting service)

help for IT profesionals please

Help with what? Having too much memory? How could you possibly have too much memory? What does this have to do with software development anyway?

The service use too much memory,
even when not using the sql server.

This is not, in any case, a development question.
You should try on a sql-reporting-services-related-forum (I leave the search-part as an exercise).

You can Configure Available Memory for Report Server Applications (link article is for SQL Server 2012 but it's pretty much the same for SQL Server 2008)

It's true btw, the default behaviour of the SQL Server is usually to reserve quite a lot of memory based on the existing resources rather than what it needs.
