How does a Windows service receive WMI events?

I have written a C++ class to simplify getting a callback when some WMI event query fires. I've used it successfully in several programs. However, if I use it in a Windows service, the sink never gets called.

I'm guessing this because I'm lacking some necessary security code, but I don't really know what the problem is.

Any ideas are appreciated.
