Master Page -ASP.NET - C#.net

I have a problem...
I am developing a website using master page concept, and i added a new default.aspx page in my website without selecting as a master Page..

on that page i created my registration form and inserting data in sqlserver db , but the code is not working or supporting on that page.......

as same code is working on one of the other sub-master page...... I can't shift my regist from from default.aspx...
so how can I solve this problem.....and why it is so?
