Following is the error I get when I try to modify and insert 1 or 0 the field,But it was not like this before

this filed is Binary(1) or bit

If you are trying to use this column as a Boolean value then use bit e.g. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1777257/how-do-you-create-a-yes-no-boolean-field-in-sql-server[^]
