BAM alerts deployment

I have created a BAM activity and view to track my Biztalk applications.
I have enabled the analysis services in sql 2008 server and the BAM alert notification services of sql server 2005. WHen i try to deploy the BAM activity I am able to deploy the BAM activity and the BAM view. But when the alerts are being deployed..it takes forever and still does not get deployed. It always says 'Deploying alerts..'. Can anybody guide me about what am missing or doing wrong????
