How to host asp.net application in Default website on the web server (IIS)

I need to host my web application in dedicated server....for that i had taken the IIS -> sites ->
Default websites -> add application. Like that i am hosting....there are already 4 applications in that default website..i tried to add one more application..but it is showing always path error or something....i had added 4 websites already..but the last one is showing error ..how can i find out the solution..i am not much familiar with the hosing...i had checked the path and all , but everything is fine..but connection is not happening.

Are you creating virtual directory? if yes publish it to localhost with the specified port number.and in the iis you will find the website as the folder name.

Please post the exact Error/Exception you are getting.
