how to encrypt web.config file for remote hosting server

I have developed web application in asp.net. I have encrypt web.config file using command in my machine. But when i upload my web application in remote hosting site. It generate error. how can can i solve this problem.

Solution 1

Yes you can do,. There are sevral ways to do this like create a web deploy package that encrypt the config after deployment
or encrypt it beforehand and then deploy on server
