Doubt in Impersonation in Asp.net

Hi,

I have a page where all can view the page in that page I have a link which redirects to another page.
when I click on that link I need to provide impersonation concept where only few users can view that page.
The user Id and the Password will be maintained in the DB.

Please provide me details how can I get the value from DB and validate the user using impersonation.

If impersonation doesn't work in this kindly provid me some other approach.

Go for - ASP.NET Authorization[^].

Another Example - what is authorization in asp.net | authorization rules in web.config to allow or deny resources to particular user or role in asp.net.[^].
