dropdownlist for courses and streams in mvc 3 application

Hi am new to Asp .net i started my application in mvc internet application here am facing some challenges here in my application i have to create a drop down list for courses and streams based on the course name stream name has to change but am not getting how to achieve this. in my application i have 3 layers one is main layer which contains views and controllers and models and another layer is data access layer where am calling the stored procedure and passing it to the model and another is DTO .. here am using entityframe work edmx file and database first approach so please help me to achieve this.........
