YCrCb Background Substraction algorithm

Hi, does anyone know a good algorithm for background subtraction in OpenCV based on YCrCb color space? i have tried BackgroundSubstractorMOG, grabcut, watershed algorithms..but not happy with the outputs..I want to subtract the background and detect human skin...Need guidance..Thanx in advance :-)
