How To get the MAC address from PC

i want to use the GetAdaptersInfo function
i doesn't seem to have the the iphlpapi.lib and iphlpapi.h files

where could i get them, or is there any other way to get the MAC address from PC.

I am using VC++ 6.0 and XP SP2.

You may need to update your version of the SDK; VC 6.0 is out of date.

ya I do need to update but no update is available in the microsoft site for VC 6.0

Is der any other way to get the MAC address ?

Sorry, no idea, but you would be well advised to update to a newer version of Visual C++. If you do not want to buy the professional version you can get the free Express version from this MSDN page.
