ExecuteDataSet is taking too much time

I am using enterprise library 5.0 and Oracle as back end. Its really taking too much time while fetching data using "ExecuteDataSet".

While I Execute same procedure from back end, it only takes 1 or 2 sec but fetching from front end it takes more than 15 minutes.

Could any one please help me. I stuck with this problem and my application is getting slow.

Is your database on the same system or on the network? If the data is too-much over the network it might be an issue.

Yea my database is on network and it is trying to fetch large data. Is there other cause than the network issue because network is fine.
