Windows store app - client certificat

I have online api for web side. But to access it I have to install .p12 certificat. But now I wish connect my Windows Store App with this same api. How can I do this?

I already looked at this sample:
Windows 8 banking app

This is first time for me, working with certificat, so i'm total nooby in this.
I actually have lack of basics knowledge about certificat's.

Does someone know's for any simple explanation or tutorial of some kind?
