Our Customer need a client-side script to fetech information (of the current logged-in user) from Active-directory on pageload.

I was trying with the following links. But none of these are not working.

http://idprogramming.blogspot.in/2011/06/how-to-get-user-data-from-active.html

http://sirlagz.net/2011/01/04/query-a-user-in-active-directory/

Is it possible?
If so what are the requirement for linking active directory using Java-script?

I did not get any helpful link to achieve this.

I don't think that it is wise trying to access AD from JavaScript, mostly because of security issues. And I can imagine, that the objects these are using are/will be restricted in the browser (and they won't be cross browser and cross platform for sure). Bot let's try make it work. What error message do you get? What browser do you have? Use IE8+ and start a debugging session in Developer Toolbar.
