Hi All,

We are using FTPSync.exe using FTPSync.exe.config wherein we have noticed that when we try and upload a file in our FTP Site which has more than 25 characters , the FTPSync job fails.

Application : FTPSync
Version :1.1.0.0

Could you please suggest what would be a resolution for the same.

Regards,

Come on! How about asking the people who wrote FTPSync instead of a bunch of people who have never heard of it? See the "Support" link here[^]??

Well, the hint itself is ok, but providing incorrect link is not. The FTPSync tool on the link above is at version 2.9 (he is referring to version 1.1), supports filenames longer than 25 characters, and use no FTPSync.exe.config file, so this is not the tool he is asking for. There are lots of tools named FTPSync like http://www.awk-scripting.de/cgi-bin/wiki.cgi/scripting/FtpSyncPrototype or https://github.com/lpenz/ftpsync etc or http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=934 that would probably be better fits.

It goes back to "the quality of the question" thing. If he doesn't specify which FTPSync he's using, we're only guessing at what he's using.
