Hello all,

I have MS Office XP installed on my machine. I have some .doc files (generated on other platforms) and need to search them for string patterns like "court case verdict" etc. If the serach words are present, I need to highlighted them as well. I.e., each such string pattern found in every abc.doc file should be highlighted. Do I need to write a macro or some special kind of code to achieve this functionality?

Please help me out...

Regards
Amitabh

I believe a look at the following website should give you the basis for everything you need: http://blogs.technet.com/heyscriptingguy/archive/2006/03/21/how-can-i-search-for-and-highlight-words-in-a-microsoft-word-document.aspx :)
