Windows 7 64 bit OS

I am currently a student at Kaplan University, geting my degree in programming. I am using windows 7 64 bit OS and i my current classes are visual basics. I can not get the databases to work on my 64 bit OS. Is there any way to get this to work without duel booting a 32 and 64 bit OS? If not can someone tell me how to set up so i have a 32 bit OS also.

You're going to have to provide a lot more info than "I can't get the databases to work".

What version of Visual Studio?

What database?

What problem are you having EXACTLY.
