Grid Page Index serial no not working

I am using gridview(which allows paging) with page index. in that i am using serial numbers for records and page size is 10(i.e. per page 10 records), When i am click on 1st page it shows serial nos from 1 to 10,next when i click on 2nd page it shows serial no again 1 to 10, i dont want that, there i need 11 to 20 and 21 to 30 like this. Please help me to do this.

Hello Venky,

The pager is showing the page numbers and not the record numbers.
